Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate not just a birthday, but the incredible journey of my younger brother, Marvin. We’ve come a long way—from our early days in Bicol to making a home in Davao, and now finding ourselves here in Cebu for a jiu-jitsu tournament.

Bong, you’ve always been more than just my brother. You’ve been my inspiration, pushing me to take better care of myself and guiding me into the world of jiu-jitsu. It’s not every day that a younger sibling becomes such a strong influence in one’s life, but you’ve done just that with your unli support.

As we compete together in Cebu, I’m reminded of how much you’ve accomplished and how proud I am of the person you’ve become. Your purple belt is a testament to your dedication, but it’s your heart and spirit that truly make you stand out.
